Roasting Philosophy

THE COFFEE YOU DRINK EACH MORNING TOOK ABOUT A YEAR TO MAKE FROM SEED TO CUP. THAT'S AN ASTOUNDING AMOUNT OF WORK FOR A SINGLE CUP OF COFFEE. MOST OF THIS WORK IS DONE BY FARMERS AND PROCESSORS THAT METICULOUSLY CULTIVATE AND HAND-PICK SPECIALTY COFFEE MONTHS PRIOR TO ROASTING.
WE STRIVE TO CREATE ROAST PROFILES THAT HIGHLIGHT THE UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS OF EACH COFFEE’S ORIGIN AND ALLOWS THE BEAN TO SHINE. BECAUSE OF THIS, OUR ROASTS TEND TO BE ON THE LIGHTER SIDE.
